1. Cylinder Head Remanufacturing
After 70 years in business, MCH offers a vast knowledge of almost every kind of cylinder head from a single head to a V- 24 cylinder engine head diesel or gas. Our specialized equipment means we can weld and rebuild any aluminum or cast iron cylinder head that is brought in, even diesel cylinder heads.

2. Block Remanufacturing
Our expertise doesn't end with cylinder heads. Our cylinder block rebuilding business originally specialized in automotive, but our main focus is now heavy duty and agriculture blocks. We pioneered and fabricated some block repair sleeve inserts before they were available from the O.E. With the addition of our new Rottler F99Y CNC machine, the possibilities are endless.

3. Casting Repair
At MCH, every day we repair something that we've never seen before. Our welding and repair expertise allows us to restore the antique, unique or impossible to replace. Even more recent castings can be repaired saving the customer money and sometimes improving the original casting.

4. Crankshaft Rebuilding
In 2005 MCH purchased two crankshaft grinders and an align hone machine. The new upgrade also included a connecting rod pin machine to accurately bore out rod bushings instead of honing. We also have a crankshaft-welding machine to weld crankshafts when permitted.

To meet the needs of EVERY customer, we also sell new aftermarket auto, industrial, and agriculture crankshafts that meet or exceed the O.E. specifications.

5. Performance Machining
Utilizing the latest machining technologies, from our Rottler F99Y CNC machining center to our Saenz flow bench, the performance end of our shop is even more enhanced offering options that other shops can't even imagine.

Frequently, a project will come to us after customers that have spent a great deal of time and money on their equipment only to push it beyond its limit or they experience failure of some kind, from dropping a valve or putting a hole in the head or block. Rather than starting from scratch, we can help make the necessary repairs and improvements.

6. Marine Repair
It happens every spring. Someone pulls their boat or other summer toy out of storage and discovers they didn't properly weatherize it. We can help get you back in the fun. We can repair castings and we also repair and have new water cooled exhaust manifolds for recreational and Diesel tugboats going up and down the Mississippi river. The cost to repair some of the diesel water-cooled manifolds can offer great savings over new.

We've also helped restore old Chris Craft boats and other classics when the parts are no longer available

7. Heavy Duty and Ag Repair
Machining and welding of heavy duty industrial & agriculture cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts, rockshaft housings, final drive housings, transmission housings, pivots or anything cast iron or aluminum that bolts on to your engine or piece of equipment is the heart and soul of our business.

When it comes to heavy duty that's where we shine because we have the people and tools to handle the job.

8. Special Projects
We can do cast iron and aluminum welding on anything, even if it has nothing to do with an engine. Our specialized tools and equipment are constantly being modified to meet a new challenge. Our projects range from machining o-ring head gasket grooves into a 5.9 Cummins head or a 466 John Deere head to welding and machining a trunion or the mast from a press brake. We have welded and machined the cast iron front door from a steam engine and many 2" to 6" water pump housings of stationary pump units and mud pump housings.

If your project is at a dead-end and you don't know what to do, give us a call, our experts can find a way.
